A person inspired by cinema, art, travel, fashion, cats (I have two beautiful floofs), decaf coffee (I know, scandalous) & a good Margarita.
I truly live & breath weddings. More so the people & the culmination of dreams, visual stories, creative installations & soul encapsulating emotions of it all.
Telling stories since 2018 as Chantel & May has been the best thing I have done. I am immensely passionate about my clients & preserving their memories as timeless art pieces that carry weight & personality.
Based in Cape Town as a Wedding Photographer, but I travel often.
Every wedding day I get to document gets treated with the care & intention it deserves.
I stepped into the wedding industry as a teenager working as a waiter at a venue, always eavesdropping on the speeches, shedding a tear silently whilst polishing glasses, stealing glimpses of the bride's dress & ultimately being so envious of the photographer who got to have front row seats to the love unfolding. I wanted to be THAT woman.
Being the determined person I am, I became that woman & I haven't looked back.
